"It's time we all got some bigger dreams, so thank god for Maximo Park" – NME "First single proper 'The Kids Are Sick Again' is an addictive pop song with guts, but there are even bigger commercial moments here" – Music Week "Seething with rage again social complacency and small town boredom, it is escapist pop at its finest. 'The Kids Are Sick Again' is a thrilling blast that bodes well for its parent album." – Clash Music. Maximo Park are back, following multiple top 20 hits, a #2 album and a Mercury nomination, with their first single from forthcoming album 'Quicken the Heart'. 'The Kids Are Sick Again' is a blistering, anthemic tune which builds from a pulsating start through two choruses to a stadium-sized finish. The spectacular performance video for the song, by light installation and film auteurs United Visual Artists [Massive Attack, Battles, V&A Museum], captures the incendiary performance of the band's legendary live shows. The single is available on two 7" vinyls [both coloured] and CD, each format featuring a brand new song. The second 7" also features a special acoustic version of the single.

'Ice Capped At Both Ends' Ltd CD

Release Date 04/05/2009

**Strictly Limited to 300 Copies so Out Requests ONLY** Guillermo Scott Herren [aka Prefuse 73] is one of the most renowned producers of avant-rock and hip hop around today. Over the past 12 months he's remixed the likes of TV On The Radio, Pelican, BLK JKS and Cornelius as well as having collaborated in the past with Battles and School of Seven Bells. Zach Hill is an incredible, self-taught drummer, hailing from California. He's played in bands with Chino Moreno [Deftones], Rob Crow [Pinback], Marnie Stern and will soon be drumming with The Mars Volta, as well as playing in his main group Hella. Together they've formed Diamond Watch Wrists, and released the album 'Ice Capped at Both Ends'. The album shows an entirely new form of Herren creations, organic songs featuring Guillermo's plaintive vocals, guitar and studio wizardry, Hill's singular drumming as well as previously unheard nods to 60's European acid-folk, classic American singersongwriters and krautrock. Ty Braxton (Battles) also guests on 'Simple Love Notes (5 Years Later)'.

'Primary Colours'

Release Date 04/05/2009

'Primary Colours', the follow up to The Horrors' 2007 debut 'Strange House', features ten tracks and was recorded last Summer with Chris Cunningham and Portishead's Geoff Barrow.

'I Feel Cream'

Release Date 04/05/2009

Peaches does it again – this time producing, along with the likes of Simian Mobile Disco, Soulwax, Digitalism and Drums Of Death, her most pop sounding album to date. Far from mellowing out or taking things easy, Peaches now seems as relevant to the musical landscape as ever before. The beats remain as harsh and uncompromising as ever but with a new found melodic groove that has only been previously hinted at. A perfect example of this is opening track 'Serpentine', the title track 'I Feel Cream' or the luscious synth-pop of 'Lose You', which sees Peaches deliver one of her most delicate and graceful vocal performances yet. Of course, she still retains that lyrical bite – in 'Billionaire', featuring Shunda K of Yo Majesty, she sings of how "You do diddly-squat / No plot / You took a shot / But forgot you're the fly that I squat".

Release Date 04/05/2009

4AD release 'Actor', the anticipated new album by St. Vincent [née Annie Clark], and the follow-up to her first album 'Marry Me', one of the most acclaimed debuts of 2007. 'Actor' was co-produced by Clark and John Congleton [Modest Mouse, Polyphonic Spree] and features eleven new songs, all written and arranged by Clark. 'Actor' takes the ambitious compositional and sonic underpinnings of Clark's debut as a starting point and never looks back. The arrangements are more masterful, the songwriting grander, the performances ever more confident and inspired. Clark developed an idiosyncratic writing process for 'Actor', immersing herself in some of her favorite films – 'Badlands', 'Pierrot le Fou', 'The Wizard of Oz', 'Stardust Memories', 'Sleeping Beauty' – and beginning each song as a secret film score, then slowly giving it independence as its structure and lyrics came fully into focus. The resulting eleven tracks are as cinematic as pop songs can be, but the movie is a private one, revealing its storyline in hushed, cunning couplets and cascades of scathing guitar. Here is a record to listen to with your eyes closed. Melodies are transposed and inverted. The fantasy of Disney is juxtaposed with the sweep of Morricone, David Mamet's unsettling dramatic form and the alienation of Philip Roth. Igor Stravinsky scores Roger Corman's horror flicks. 'The Strangers' starts off as a deceptively dulcet elegy for a lost love, then suddenly capsizes under a flood of distortion. 'Actor Out Of Work' is a devastating sonic kiss-off, complete with slyly poisonous lyrics and steamrolling guitars. The strings and woodwinds at the opening of 'Marrow' might be escorting Dorothy to the Emerald City, or straight into the flying monkeys' clutches. The crackerjack band, including supporting turns by McKenzie Smith and Paul Alexander of Midlake, has the crunch of a tank and the grace of a chamber ensemble.

IRON MAIDEN: FLIGHT 666 is a full length documentary film, about the first leg of the band's historic 'Somewhere Back In Time World' tour in February & March of 2008, considered to be the most ambitious and adventurous tour in rock history. The film is a revealing portrait of one of the world's most successful rock bands and an inspirational and often humourous account of the chaotic world of a band on tour around the stadiums of the world. Circumnavigating the globe in just 45 days, the band flew in a specially customised Boeing 757 airliner, piloted by lead singer Bruce Dickinson, with the entire tour crew and 12 tons of music and stage equipment on board, to 23 sold out stadium and arena shows in Asia, Australia and North, Central and South America. The band played in 13 countries, also landing in Azerbaijan and Papua New Guinea en route for fuel stops, travelling 50,000 miles (70,000 km) and performing to almost half a million fans – a schedule that was only made possible by having their own "magic carpet" which enabled them to go where they wanted with all the key elements of band, crew and equipment on board one plane, christened ED FORCE ONE. 'Flight 666' gives a close up inside the scenes look at what happened on and off stage, when Maiden gave full access to a film crew for the first time ever, and contains some of the most spectacular live footage yet seen of Maiden. If you want to know what it is like to be part of the most adventurous tour in Rock history, you can't miss seeing this. Taking you from Mumbai to Santiago, LA to Sydney, Tokyo to San Paolo, Buenos Aires to Toronto and all points between, through exhaustion and fan pandemonium, travelling with band and crew on the plane, to and from shows, in the bar and during leisure time, this really is Access All Areas!!! The film is produced by celebrated award-winning film makers Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn of Banger Productions, based in Toronto, Canada, who have received international critical acclaim for their previous movies, 'Metal: A Headbangers Journey' and 'Global Metal'. Shot in High Definition, the movie will be released in digital cinemas around the world, with superb 5.1 surround sound, mixed by the band's producer Kevin "Caveman" Shirley. Iron Maiden's Manager, Rod Smallwood commented, "This film is a testament to an extraordinary tour and to our incredible fans all over the world. Seeing it on the big screen will make you feel like you were there on that spectacular journey." 'Iron Maiden: Flight 666' is an honest and revealing portrait of one of the worlds most successful rock bands and a must-see for all Maiden fans and anyone interested in rock and what it is really like to tour at this level.

'Music For The People'

Release Date 27/04/2009

The Enemy follow their all-conquering, chart-topping debut 'We'll Live And Die In These Towns' with the release of their bold new album 'Music For The People' on April 27th. Released on Warner Bros. Records, the album will be previewed with the April 13th release of the single 'No Time For Tears'. Recorded at Monnow Valley Studios towards the close of 2008 with producer Mike Crossey [Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight], 'Music For The People' is a bold step ahead of the Coventry trio's debut album, mixing the warm, richer texture of recording to tape with songs full of strident ambition. The album is full of killer new tracks from a band previously heralded by NME and Q as 2007's Best New Band and by XFM for Best Debut Album 2007. Already a live favourite having been played at last year's festivals, 'Sing When You're In Love' is immediate proof that The Enemy have lived up to their own expectations. This ode to the redemptive power of song boasts a more widescreen take that compares with fellow anthem writers like Springsteen. Meanwhile closing track 'Silver Spoon' was one of the last songs to be written for the album yet it bristles and swaggers as only the climax of an Enemy album can. Elsewhere the poignant 'Last Goodbye' unveils a darker edge some might have doubted The Enemy possessed.

'Warpaint Live'

'Returns: Live At Montreux 2008' DVD

Release Date 27/04/2009

Return To Forever were at the forefront of jazz/rock fusion in the seventies and like their contemporaries Weather Report and Mahavishnu Orchestra were formed by a former Miles Davis sideman, in this case the great Chick Corea. Return To Forever hit their commercial and artistic peak with a string of albums in the mid-seventies featuring the line-up of Chick Corea on keyboards, Stanley Clarke on bass, Al Di Meola on guitar and Lenny White on drums. In 2008 this classic line-up reunited for their first tour in 25 years and proved that their musicianship and the chemistry within the band were as strong as ever. This concert was filmed at Montreux in July 2008 with the bonus tracks being filmed in Clearwater, Florida later the same month featuring very different solos from the four band members and their classic 'Duel Of The Jester And The Tyrant'.
