Various-Reggae--Ska-Reggae-In-The-Gra-570973VARIOUS-REGGAE & SKA Reggae In The Grass

Rare 1968 UK 12-track vinyl LP – Well what's this? A gaggle of cool cats dancing inna Jamaican clearing? If your first thoughts are, 'I wanna get in the action!' then read on… Prepare yourselves for some gushing: Sir Coxsone's top draw artists are in fine form with John Holt's immense 'Darling I Need Your Loving', Larry & Alvin's 'Nanny Goat' and Sound Dimensions' 'Reggae For Days'. This pivotal long player displays the shift from cool cool rocksteady into the 'new' sound of Reggay which opened up the floodgates for some of the best JA musicians to rise to fame. The beautiful pinched spine front laminated picture sleeve has only the lightest of wear with very small laminate creasing on the spine and the unlaminated reverse maintains its crisp white 'shop bought' condition. The vinyl is in a similar condition with only the faintest hints to evidence that this gem has been played and a label so clean that it could knock you down at a hundred paces – Play it, love it, dance in the grass, your living room, a neighbours garden or anywhere you can!
