Thursday’s Top Three Including Fresh Maggots, Andwella’s Dream, Audience.

FRESH MAGGOTS Fresh Maggots Fresh-Maggots-Fresh-Maggots---1-596973 (Extremely rare 1971 first UK issue 11-track stereo vinyl LP. Fresh Maggots were just two teenagers, Mick Burgoyne & Leigh Dolphin, who played melodic acid folk-rock. The album features some beautiful harmonies, including the whimsical 'Rosemary Hill' & pastoral 'And When She Laughs', with electric fuzz guitar kicking in at various points to startling effect, housed in a front laminated picture sleeve designed by the legendary Keef. This is the first copy we've ever stocked, which should give you some indication of its rarity. See 'more info' for condition details… SF8205)

ANDWELLA'S DREAM Love And Poetry (2009 UK limited edition 21-track double LP. This psychedelic classic was recorded by the youthful trio in the summer of 1969, it’s packed with strong songs and powerful acid guitar, as well as contemporary production flourishes and a guest appearance from cult jazzman Bob Downes, produced with the full involvement of the band’s leader David Lewis and including 8 BONUS RECORDINGS, gatefold picture sleeve complete with rare photos and detailed liner notes by Lewis, factory sealed from new! SBR2LP5063)

AUDIENCE Audience (Original 1969 UK 12-track stereo vinyl LP with A1/B1 matrices, the progressive rock group's debut album & almost mythical in its rarity, supposedly selling in such small quantities at the time that it was immediately withdrawn! Includes an early rough & ready version of 'House On The Hill', textured 'blacklite' picture sleeve. The sleeve shows only a light ripple with no wear to the print or edges at all. The vinyl is super clean & looks barely played. An astonishing copy of this legendary prog rarity!)
