Rare Pop & Rock, Vintage & Collectable, Posters, Flyers & Handbills – Watch The Video

We’re not just all about Vinyl LPs and CDs here at 991.com. Over our 30 years of trading, we have often acquired some amazing collections of what we broadly refer to as ‘paper goods’.

This is anything from the obvious tour programmes, posters and books to the more obscure, but highly desirable, items such as tour itineraries, old gig tickets, handbills, press books, cinema/movie theatre lobby cards and more.

Over the years, we have had some extraordinary handbills from Japan where it is still commonplace for music stores and labels to hand out flyers for forthcoming albums and gigs. Unique in design, often double sided, and normally printed to glossy stock paper, these are virtually a mini poster in their own right.

Find these and many more non-audio collectables to adorn your walls at our website, and watch the video below.

The Buzzcocks’ Pete Shelley has been quoted: ‘It’s exactly what you want for a record sleeve. As soon as you see it you can’t get the image out of your head. It was all pretty topshelf back in 1977.’ Linder has been quoted: “…in a Salford bedroom, I had a sheet of glass, a scalpel and piles of women’s mags… the iron came from an Argos catalogue and the female torso came from a photographic magazine called ‘Photo'”! The single’s “UP36316” catalogue number is printed at the bottom.
