Download Festival have announced the headliners for their 2019 event.
The biggest surprise is the announce that Tool will be making a special appearance on the Sunday night, as rumours intensify that their long-awaited new album will arrive in 2019. Slipklnot will bring their incendiary live show back to Donnington on the Saturday night, while Friday’s headliners are rock legends, Def Leppard, who will be performing Hysteria in full.
A whole host of other acts are set to appear across the weekend, including Slash, Die Antwoord, Whitesnake, Rob Zombie, Trivium, Aman Amarth, Carcass, Delain, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, Opeth, Power Trip, Reel Big Fish, Skindred, Starset, Tesla, The Amity Affliction and Underoath.
The festival will take place at Donnington Park on June 14-16, and tickets for the event will go on sale Thursday October 25. Find out more at the official Download Festival website.
