For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.
While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

Soundgarden – Superunknown: 1994 UK limited edition 16-track double LP pressed on CLEAR VINYL, features bonus track She Likes Surprises. Housed in a hype-stickered gatefold picture sleeve with lyric inserts. The sleeve does have some notable edge scuffing and a small amount of paper loss near the bottom edge on the front, however the vinyl appears in near as new condition
Red Hot Chilli Peppers – Californication: 1999 German 15-track double LP pressed on heavyweight vinyl, complete with illustrated lyric insert, single pocket picture sleeve. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play
Beach Boys – Pet Sounds: 1997 UK EMI100 Anniversary series issue of the classic 1966 14-track LP, Direct Metal Mastered & pressed on 180gm Virgin Vinyl, housed in a high quality fully laminated picture sleeve reproducing the original album artwork with series sticker & original shop price sticker attached. This copy is sealed & unopened, the vinyl is mint.
