DAVID BOWIE ‘David Bowie’ [Release Date 25/01/2010]
2CD: http://991.com/Buy/ProductInformation.aspx?StockNumber=492660

* David Bowie's 1967 debut album for Decca finally receives the Deluxe Edition treatment.

* Disc One features the original stereo and mono mixes of the album stunningly remastered by Peter Mew and Tris Penna at Abbey Road Studios. This is the first time that the mono mix has been available in any format since the late '60s and is obviously the first time on CD.

* Disc Two features the singles, unreleased stereo mixes, the legendary unreleased single 'London Bye Ta-Ta' and 5 Previously Unreleased tracks recorded for John Peel's Top Gear programme in 1967.

* All in all, there are a total of 53 tracks over the two CDs with 26 appearing on CD for the very first time!

Sleeve notes by Tris Penna and Kevin Cann: "With the release of 'David Bowie – the Deluxe Edition', we all agreed that we wanted to make sure that the original album and assorted singles tracks sounded as good, if not better, as when they were first released. So in nearly every case the original one track, two track and four track mastertapes were used during the considered, careful sound restoration and remastering at Abbey Road Studios, which took as main reference the warm and full sound of the original vinyl releases (we had mint copies of the original pressings with us in the studio for comparison purposes).

This release sees this first CD release of the original mono mix of the album (unavailable in any form since the 1960's) – and in places it is a significantly different mix to that of the familiar stereo album. Several tracks make their debut in stereo – 'The Laughing Gnome' and 'The Gospel According To Tony Day' were newly mixed to stereo from the original four track session tapes. 'Did You Ever Have A Dream' existed as a previously unreleased stereo mix from 1966 when it was an album track contender. 'Let Me Sleep Beside You' and 'Karma Man' – are both original stereo mixes from 1967 and unreleased until now.

Unfortunately the multi-tracks for 'Love You Till Tuesday (single version)' and 'When I Live My Dream (single version)' no longer exist in the Decca archive – so these two titles remain only in mono, as do 'Rubber Band (single version)' and 'The London Boys' both of which were only ever mono recordings. This set also sees the first release of the Decca 'London Bye Ta-Ta', as we were incredibly lucky to be able to locate a mono version of this (no stereo version existing)."

LTM presents an expanded CD edition of the debut album by The Other Two, the electronic pop duo comprising Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert of New Order.

C5:   http://991.com/Buy/ProductInformation.aspx?StockNumber=490639

Pet Shop Boys will release a new EP, 'Christmas', on Parlophone Records on December 14th.

'All Over The World' is a new version of the track which appears on Pet Shop Boys' latest album, 'Yes'. Also included is a new version of 'It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas', originally an exclusive Christmas single issued to members of the Pet Shop Boys fan club in 1997. Both new versions are produced by Marius de Vries and Pet Shop Boys, based on the original tracks, and have orchestral and choir arrangements by Matt Robertson and Marius de Vries.

Pet Shop Boys' arrangement of the Madness classic, 'My Girl', was originally performed with Suggs and Carl of Madness at last year's charity benefit, 'Can You Bear It?', for the family of Chris and Neil's former assistant and close friend, Dainton Connell, who was tragically killed in a car accident.

The EP also includes a medley of Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida' and Pet Shop Boys classic 'Domino Dancing' which the duo has been performing on their current world tour. This studio version is produced by Stuart Price.

2009 has been a productive year for Pet Shop Boys who won the award for Outstanding Contribution To Music at this year’s BRITs and celebrated their highest UK and USA album chart positions for 15 years. A hugely successful world tour is still in progress.

PAUL MCCARTNEY ‘Good Evening New York City’ [Release Date 23/11/2009]

2CD/1DVD:    http://991.com/Buy/ProductInformation.aspx?StockNumber=490004

Deluxe 2CD/2DVD:    http://991.com/Buy/ProductInformation.aspx?StockNumber=490005

Multi-Disc CD/DVD special package features dazzling performances of Beatles, Wings and solo classics from Citi Field, formerly Shea Stadium, historic site of The Beatles' Landmark 1965 Concert.

"It was three great nights for the band and for me personally it was very exciting to be back opening a new stadium on the site of the old Shea Stadium where we had played 44 years previously. Even more exciting because this time round you could hear us!"

Paul McCartney's historic three-night musical christening of New York's Citi Field, witnessed by 120,000-plus attendees and universally hailed as a concert experience for the ages, will be immortalized November 23 with the release of 'Good Evening New York City'. This momentous musical experience will be available in two formats: a 3-disc (2 CD + 1 DVD) standard edition and a 4-disc (2 CD + 2 DVD) deluxe version featuring expanded packaging and a bonus DVD including McCartney's traffic-stopping, headline-making July 15 performance on the Ed Sullivan Theater marquee (including bonus numbers not aired on the Late Show with David Letterman broadcast).

As the inaugural musical event at Citi Field, the site of the former Shea Stadium, the July 2009 shows held special significance not only for McCartney but for generations of his fans. The shows were performed on the same hallowed ground that The Beatles, in 1965, played the 34-minute show that would set the precedent for the modern day stadium rock show, and where in 2008 McCartney joined Billy Joel for the final rock show before the original stadium's demolition. As documented on 'Good Evening New York City', 'I'm Down' from the 1965 set list was revived for the Citi Field shows.

Other highlights of 'Good Evening New York City' include faithful takes on Beatles classics 'Drive My Car', 'Got To Get You Into My Life', 'The Long And Winding Road', 'Blackbird', 'Eleanor Rigby', 'Back In The USSR', 'Paperback Writer', 'Let It Be', 'Hey Jude', 'Helter Skelter' and more, plus 'Something' rendered on ukulele gifted to Paul by George Harrison, and a tribute to John Lennon in the form of a medley of 'A Day In The Life' and 'Give Peace A Chance'. Wings era chestnuts include 'Band On The Run', 'My Love', 'Let Me Roll It' and the pyrotechnic tour de force of 'Live And Let Die', while timeless McCartney solo material ranges from 'Here Today' to the upbeat 'Flaming Pie' and 'Dance Tonight' to a pair of numbers from Electric Arguments, the 2008 album released under the alias of The Fireman.

The concert footage featured on 'Good Evening New York City' standard edition features concert footage directed by Paul Becher, who has overseen live visuals for McCartney for some 200 performances and counting. The 33-song 2 hour 40 minute performances were shot in High Definition using 15 cameras and digital footage incorporated from 75 Flipcams handed out to fans over the course of the three night stand. The audio mix, in both stereo and 5.1, was handled by longtime McCartney engineer Paul Hicks, whose credits include the recent Beatles remasters, The Beatles Anthology, Let It Be… Naked, and two Grammy awards for his mixing work on the Beatles' Love album.
