ALISON
MOYET ‘The Best Of’ [Release Date 19/10/2009]

CD  I   2CD

Acclaimed singer Alison Moyet will
mark her incredible three-decade spanning career on 19 October 2009 with the
release of 'The Best Of Alison Moyet' through Sony Music. A deluxe 2CD version
of the album entitled 'The Best Of: 25 Years Revisited' will contain 11 brand
new interpretations of Alison's favourite songs from her back catalogue recorded
with her current live band.

'The Best Of Alison Moyet' is a true
reflection of the extraordinary music produced by Alison Moyet over the last 25
years and a testament to the diversity of her talents. The songs included on the
album form a definitive representation of her stunning and vivacious vocal style
and range, from subtle blues and bombastic soul to big pop chart hits.

The Top 10 singles 'All Cried Out',
'Love Resurrection', 'Invisible' and 'Is This Love' are all included on this 20
track anthology, as are the heartbreakingly honest ballad 'This House' and the
modern soul of 'Hoodoo'. Timeless cover versions of 'That Ole Devil Called Love'
and 'Love Letters', which both cracked the Top 5 upon release in 1985 and 1987
respectively, and 'Windmills Of Your Mind' and 'Almost Blue' from 2004's 'Voice'
album, perfectly demonstrate the smoky range of Alison's blues vocals, are all
included on this comprehensive collection of solo
work.

LEONARD
COHEN ‘Live At The Isle Of Wight
1970 [Release Date 19/10/2009]

DVD  I   Blu-Ray

Early, 40 summers ago on August 31,
1970, 35-year-old Leonard Cohen was awakened at 2a.m. from a nap in his trailer
and brought onstage to perform with his band at the third annual Isle Of Wight
music festival. The audience of 600,000 was in a fiery and frenzied mood, after
turning the festival into a political arena, trampling the fences, setting fire
to structures and equipment – and stoked by the most incendiary performance of
Jimi Hendrix's career.

As Cohen followed Hendrix's set,
onlookers (and fellow festival headliners) Joan Baez, Kris Kristofferson, Judy
Collins and others stood side stage in awe as the Canadian folksinger
songwriter-poet-novelist quietly tamed the crowd. Academy Award-winning
documentary filmmaker Murray Lerner, whose footage of the 1970 festival did not
begin to see release until 1995, was able to capture Cohen's
performance.

This package is available in two
formats. The DVD/CD contains the new documentary by Lerner and the full
performance on CD. All tracks are previously unreleased (sans bits of 'Suzanne'
which were featured in the documentary 'Message to Love', also by Lerner).
Included are live versions of classic songs from the first two Leonard Cohen
LPs: 'So Long, Marianne', 'The Stranger Song', 'Hey, That's No Way To Say
Goodbye', 'Suzanne', 'Bird On The Wire', 'You Know Who I Am', and 'The Partisan'
as well as spoken word and poetry.

SLAYER
‘Hate Worldwide’ [Release Date 19/10/2009]

Ltd CD5    **Request the Next Copy only**

ATLAS
SOUND ‘Logos’ [Release Date 19/10/2009]

CD  I   DVD

Brand new solo
album from Bradford 'Deerhunter' Cox. 'Logos'
features contributions from Animal Collective's Panda Bear and Stereolab's
Laetitia Sadier.

Following the release of
Deerhunter's 'Microcastle' last year, the Atlanta, Georgia group's lynchpin
Bradford Cox returns to his solo guise, Atlas Sound, for another round of
ethereal pop genius with 'Logos'.

Following 'Let The Blind Lead Those
Who Can See But Cannot Feel', Cox's debut solo release, 'Logos' will be released
through 4AD. Whilst its predecessor was a record of fragile beauty and acute
experimentalism in comparison to the often volatile bluster of Deerhunter,
'Logos' has a far more rooted pop sensibility.

At its heart is 'Walkabout', a
collaboration between Cox and Noah Lennox [Panda Bear] put together whilst he
was on tour with Animal Collective in Europe.
Combining their love for tape loops and doo-wop, the single lifts the hook from
The Dovers' classic 1966 garage track 'What Am I Going To Do?' to form a
glorious summertime jam.

Elsewhere Stereolab's Laetitia
Sadier also appears – an artist who also toured with Bradford last year – she
lends her vocals to the epic ambient motorik number, 'Quick Canal'.

BAUHAUS
’In The Flat Field – Omnibus Edition’ [Release Date
19/10/2009]

2CD

Beggars Archive present the Omnibus
Edition of Bauhaus' debut album. Lavishly packaged 2CD including a 48 page book.
All tracks remastered from the original studio masters. Since its release in
1980 to generally indifferent reviews, Bauhaus' debut album has grown in stature
and is now appreciated as an innovative foundation stone of 'Gothic'
music.

Peaking at number one and remaining
on the UK 'Indie' chart for over two years,
this dynamic collection defies categorisation, offering an incendiary tinderbox
of driving jagged rhythms, screeching guitars, brooding atmospherics,
provocative lyrics and wildly animated vocals.

This Omnibus Edition is presented as
a box set with the two CDs in Japanese-style paper sleeves, reproducing the
original vinyl cover art, accompanied by a 48 page book that chronologically
details the genesis of the album with rare memorabilia, photographs and the
complete lyrics.

The re-mastered set includes 'In The
Flat Field' restored to it's original sequence plus a second disc of the
non-album singles, previously unreleased out-takes and alternative
versions.

FINAL
‘Reading All The Right Signals Wrong’ [Release Date
19/10/2009]

LP

Justin Broadrick has always made
music which could one day serve as a soundtrack to the end of the world, should
we ever need one.

Whether with Godflesh or Jesu,
themes of urban decay, corporate greed and post-modern malaise often set the
bleak tone.

Final, his longest running project,
is no different. Formed in 1982, it has often run parallel to his more
recognizable work and served as an undefinable and more experimental outlet.
'Reading All The Right Signals Wrong' is a new full-length, and his first album
to be released on vinyl (the subtones complement the format
nicely).

"Final draws from a toolkit of simple
shifting harmonies, alternately dense and sparse tone clusters, repetition,
filter sweeps, and still other sounds that are inexplicably 'wet,' organic and
free of outright harshnoise copout
" – Dusted. Gorgeous artwork
by No Quarter designer Paul Romano.

FLIGHT
OF THE CONCHORDS ‘I Told You I Was Freaky’ [Release Date
19/10/2009]

LP

Second album from
New
Zealand
's fourth most popular guitar-based
digi-bongo-acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo.

The second season of the
Emmy-nominated comedy Flight Of The Conchords, following the lives of New
Zealand's premiere digi-folk parodists Jemaine and Bret as they try and break
New York, was transmitted on BBC 4 in the Spring of this year and will get a
full terrestrial BBC broadcast later in the year. The songs from this album were
performed on this series.

While Flight Of The Conchords first
hammered out their reputation from behind the relative safety of acoustic
guitars, blithely billed as a 'folk comedy' act, nowadays their musical style
runs rampant, unchecked. Judging from the range displayed on their sophomore
album 'I Told You I Was Freaky', Flight Of The Conchords have yet to unearth a
genre which can withstand their artistry. Unflinching in their lyrical stance,
sophisticated with their arrangements, crafting melodies which always lodge
firmly in the frontal lobe: Flight Of The Conchords have here created 13
best-selling ringtones, humbly masquerading as songs. Their rhymes are fearless,
their thesauruses dog-eared. Only cool, confident specimens of manhood such as
these could drop three-dollar vocabulary busters like "dungarees" and
"pantaloons" while still mesmerizing the ladies with their undulating
'Sugalumps'. Vivid imagery? Check: The ardent 'Angels' should spur listeners to
think twice the next time they consider catching a snowflake on their tongues.
Better still, the amorous odyssey of the album's zenith, 'We're Both In Love
With A Sexy Lady', unfolds before the listener's very ears in real time; Flight
Of The Conchords are making history.

'I Told You I Was Freaky' is, among
a great many other things, a genre-tripping tour de force and includes three
songs from the second series of their popular and award-winning HBO TV show
which are otherwise as yet unreleased: 'Rambling Through The Avenues Of Time',
'Too Many Dicks (On The Dance Floor)' and 'You Don't Have to Be a
Prostitute'.  LP comes with a coupon code for a free MP3 download of the
entire album.
