Heads up, Abba fans. It's time to get your dancing gear on, as a nice sizeable collection of goodies have hit the site this week. Here's a selection of top-drawer Abba rarities that have yet to be snapped up, the crème de la crème, shall we say:
32-page photograph album featuring 109 photos – some colour, some black & white – mostly taken by their drummer Ola Brunkert. Among the many candid snaps are pictures of the road crew and entourage, concert venues, the musicians, plus personal photographs of Agnetha, Frida, Bjorn and Benny. A stunning visual documentary of life on tour with ABBA, and fully autographed inside the front cover!
1979 Epic UK 7" pressed on YELLOW vinyl. This unique rarity is indeed limited to just this single copy; believed to be a factory custom pressing from the CBS plant when they were testing various colours for future releases. A truly phenomenal item – the joint rarest UK Abba single – this is a chance that can't be missed!
An absolute rarity… 1979 RCA/Polar official Colombian-only multi-coloured Splattered Vinyl 7", sung in English and backed with Lovelight. The condition can be honestly described as Excellent which itself is hard to come by when dealing in South American pressings – this really is one of the most exciting finds for us having only ever seen one copy before in our history!
Mega Rare 1979 Colombian RCA Victor label promotional-only BLUE Marble/Splattered vinyl 12", also featuring Does Your Mother Know. This is one of the rarest Colombian coloured vinyls, along with the multi-coloured Chiquitita 7" single. The disc is pressed on a base of light blue wax, streaked with deeper blue filaments & black streaks radiating out from the centre and is visually stunning
