For the first time a collection of Apple's Greatest Hits – well not exactly but pretty close.
Actually, this 21-track CD serves as a great overview of the catalogue for those that only want that. To others it is hopefully a useful introduction to a label that achieved and enormous amount in a very short space of time. Some artists stayed the course, others disappeared as fast as they had arrived, some went on to better and bigger things having made a start at Apple. They all left an impression. Alongside Badfinger, James Taylor, Mary Hopkin, Billy Preston, Doris Troy, Jackie Lomax appear The Black Dyke Mills Band, Trash, Ronnie Spector, The Hot Chocolate Band, The Radha Krsna Temple (London), Chris Hodge, Sundown Playboys, Bill Elliot & The Elastic Oz Band and Lon and Derrek Van Eaton and the never-released-single by Brute Force – 'King Of Fuh'.
