Seattle Nirvana Exhibit for next year

For those that want to wallow in a bit of grunge nostalgia, running from April 16, 2011 through to April 22, 2013, "Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses" is booked to open at the Frank Gehry-designed Experience Music Project in Seattle. Pitchfork news:

"The show includes more than 200 artifacts connected to the band and the scene that surrounded them. Those items include a painting that Kurt Cobain did in high school, the reel-to-reel machine that Cobain used to record his earliest bands, and the yellow cardigan that Cobain wore constantly from 1991 until his death in 1994, not to mention hand-written lyrics, instruments, and many photos…

…Around the time the exhibit opens, Fantagraphics Books will publish Taking Punk to the Masses: From Nowhere to Nevermind, a 250-page book about Nirvana and the rise of grunge."
