4AD collectables

With some great new indie/dreampop revivalist bands like The XX, Hurts, School Of Seven Bells and The Drums currently doing the rounds it's rather sublime timing that we have unearthed some amazing collectables from the legendary shoegazer/alternative indie label 4AD which helped to expose talent such as The Pixies and The Breeders. The label, which began life in 1979 as Axis, a subsidiary of Beggars Banquet and changed it's name to 4AD a year later has always played an integral part of the many facets of the indie scene and it's influential evolution, with such infamous acts as Red House Painters, Throwing Muses and Pale Saints among the roster.

We're just happy this diverse and damn right trendy label continues to thrive to this day with exciting bands like Deerhunter, Blonde Redhead & Bon Iver helping to make a big impact just as the label always has!
