He's recorded nearly two hundred records, sold over 100 million albums and dominated the 70's easy listening scene - and in April, aged 82, he'll taking his orchestra on the road again.  We are, of course, talking about the king of the orchestral pop arrangement, James Last.

Ever since their debut in 1963, James Last and his Orchestra turned out four or five albums a year right through to the nineties.  Since then, Hansi has been taking things at a more leisurely pace and has only recorded one or two albums a year, even taking the odd year off from time to time…
