The exhibition, entitled 'Linda McCartney: Life in Photographs' after the book, is a retrospective of McCartney's life and photography and it features snaps of the McCartney family and musicans including Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones and the Beatles.
Selecting the photographs from the family archive was a collaborative experience between Linda's daughters, Mary, a photographer in her own right and, Stella, a fashion designer, as well as her husband Paul.
Linda McCartney was born in New York in 1941. She studied art history at the University of Arizona before settling in New York where she began her career shooting portraits of, among others; Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Simon & Garfunkel, The Who, The Doors and Neil Young.
