Megadeth gear up for studio album number ‘TH1RT3EN’

In an interview this week with Rolling Stone magazine, Dave Mustaine, guitarist and lead singer of thrash legends MEGADETH announced a new record, entitled TH1RT3EN [a nod to it clocking in as the band's '13th' album as well as being Mustaine's birth date] is tentatively due for release in November 2011. The album will be the band's first to feature original bassist Dave Ellefson since 2001's 'The World Needs a Hero' and marks their last obligatory release due for label Roadrunner Records.

With a recent jaunt at this years Sonisphere festival, a new '25th Anniversary' reissue of their classic 1986 album 'Peace Sells . . . But Who's Buying?' and an upcoming show as part of another eagerly awaited 'Big 4' appearance at the 'Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival' on September 14th it's all systems go for the thrash giants…and long may they continue!
