Friendly Fires Trumpet player dies at 27

The alternative disco trio's contributor sadly passed away last week after tragically suffering a heart attack whilst swimming at Brockwell Lido open air pool in Herne Hill, South London. The musician who played trumpet and saxophone for the band's live performances was taken to King's College Hospital where later he sadly died at 27 years old.

 The band released the following statements "He was an utterly exceptional musician and his contributions to our shows will be hugely missed". "He was also an accomplished and admired composer", our thoughts are with his family and friends.
