Very rare 1957 US 6-track deep groove mono LP on a 'West 63rd' address Blue Note label, with 'RVG' stampers and 'ear' etchings in the run-out, also starring Donald Byrd on trumpet, Herman Foster piano, 'Peck' Morrison bass & Art Taylor drums. The pasted sleeve has heavy edge scuffing and some 'foxing' with age on the reverse, as to be expected. However, what's particularly lovely about this copy is the condition of the vinyl – it looks barely played and sounds majestic. There are just a couple of small cosmetic marks at the end of the last track which cause a few clicks but this is barely noticeable. Play tested from beginning to end, we can safely say one lucky audiophile among you will be very happy indeed!
