Friday’s Top Three Including Paul & Linda McCartney, The Beatles, Morrissey

Paul-McCartney-and-Wings-Ram-Archive-Colle-574765 PAUL & LINDA MCCARTNEY Ram: Archive Collection – Advance Release (2012 US advance promotional Deluxe Edition 3-Disc set [2-CD/DVD]. Ram forms one part of the Paul McCartney archive collection, personally supervised by Paul and newly remasteredat Abbey Road Studios. Originally released in May of 1971, this is the only album to be credited to both Paul and Linda McCartney.

THE BEATLES Brass Apple Paperweight (Extremely rare original UK promotional-only brass Apple paperweight – one of only 100 believed to have been made and given out as gifts to those attending the opening of Apple Studios at 3 Savile Row, measuring 5½" high from the base to the top of the stem and 3½" wide. The apple itself is hollow, splits in two around the centre and is machine tooled; the stem is hand made and unscrews from the top – a different design to the more familiar taller version. There are some light scuffs around the centre opening as you would expect.

MORRISSEY Viva Hate (Super rare one-of-a-kind US pair of 1-sided LP acetates, cut at K-disc Mastering Studios on Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, CA. on 25th January 1988, almost two months before its official release. Unlike the final release NorthAmerican version this acetate does NOT include Hairdresser On Fire, sticking with the original international configuration featuring The Ordinary Boys. Another interesting anomaly is that the Side 2 label states alternative timings of Dial ACliche (shown at 2:15) and Margaret On The Guillotine (shown at 3:53), however these versions do not appear to be different to those finally released. Both acetates remain in near mint condition, with unblemished crystal-clear label print, housed in the original K-disc Mastering studio sleeve. A stunning rarity of Morrissey's highly-acclaimed debut solo release and not something you're ever likely to see again!)
