Saturday’s Top Three Including Nirvana, Iggy & The Stooges, Rolling Stones

Nirvana-UK-Local-Anaesthetic-594234NIRVANA Local Anaesthetic (Rare 1971 Japanese 'swirl' label stereo vinyl LP, complete with Japanese/lyric insert, housed in an entrancing Keef designed gatefold picture sleeve. This was the fourth album to be issued under the Nirvana name andthe first post-Island outing. Heavily jazz-influenced, this release was essentially the work of a solo Patrick Campbell-Lyons. The heavyweight sleeve on this copy shows little in the way of shelfwear with just a little light scuffing at the corners &the vinyl is flawless with little sign of play at all – A wonderful copy! SFX-7381)

IGGY & THE STOOGES Raw Power (Legendary 1973 Japanese-only wide centred 7" vinyl single, the second & last Iggy & The Stooges single to be released in Japan & a vital piece of early punk rock history. Coupled with Search & Destroy on the flip& housed in a die-cut company sleeve with unique picture/lyric insert, this is one of the rarest & most sought after garage punk singles from Japan, not released as a single in any other country. The insert reveals a little creasing at the edges but nothing excessive. The vinyl looks barely touched! Make some noise now to state your interest – once this one's gone… it's gone! SOPB244)

ROLLING STONES Sticky Fingers (Very rare 1971 first Japanese promotional sample issue 10-track LP, manufactured by Warner Pioneer & pressed on a dark blue & silver label, a unique promotional-only design, housed in a top & side opening bronzefinish 'zipper' sleeve designed by Andy Warhol, in fully working order with illustrated album credits inner & English lyric insert. The sleeve shows only light shelf wear with just a few light signs of creasing to the inner sleeves otherwise superb. As ever with our Japanese supplier, the vinyl on this copy is a beauty & looks to have been played only a few times. Overall in excellent condition and very respectable P-8091S)
