Friday’s Top Three including The Animals, Oscar Peterson & Avril Lavigne

450644THE ANIMALS Animalisms Very rare original 1966 UK  12-track MONO LP on the red 'unboxed' Decca logo label, front  laminated flipback picture sleeve with pinched spine,  including the original poly-lined company inner. This beautiful  copy has been carefully stored away for almost fifty  years! The sleeve shows barely any discernible wear,  remarkable given the unforgiving stark white background,  with secure flipbacks, intact edges and the spine perfectly  retaining its shape. Thevinyl has only a couple of very, very  light surface marks but shows very little signs of play, the  labels have just a couple of light spindle marks to show it has  seen a turntable. An outstanding copy of this highly  collectable pressing LK4797

604694OSCAR PETERSON TRIO At JATP Very rare 1960 UK ultra  high-grade methyl cellulose metal based lacquer reference  double sided test pressing acetate for the single release cut  into a 33RPM 10" disc, with custom hand annotated Simon  Sound Servicestudio labels & a lovely, unique type set proof  sleeve. The disc features 'C Jam Blues' & 'Tenderly', both rare  Norman Granz recordings from the 1953 JATP Tokyo,  Nichigeki Theatre concert, & is quite possibly a one-off item  with no official UKrelease catalogued [only a Dutch 10" & 7"  EP under the EPV 5166 number]. With no further market  knowledge of this rarity, we consider this a great find for the  keen jazz collector

604728AVRIL LAVIGNE Photographic Print & Autograph Superb  AUTOGRAPHED 3" x 2½" card and 10" x 8" colour  photographic print – both  mounted in a 16" x 12" grey  cardboard frame. The card has been signed 'Avril' in black  marker pen and is displayed under the head and shoulders  image of the singer. A cool item for your wall
