Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl has played through the pain of a broken leg, sitting atop a Game of Thrones-inspired chair at a US show.
Grohl was injured after falling off stage at a concert in Gothenburg, Sweden last month, which lead to the band having to cancel their headline set at Glastonbury and two nights at Wembley Stadium. But he told the fans at the Robert F Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington DC: “I’m not missing this show for the world”, which marked the 20th anniversary of their debut album.
As someone who was supposed to be at one of the nights at Wembley, I can only hope they are able to return to these shores soon.
