Latest rock rarities and collectables, including Black Sabbath, Nirvana UK, Uriah Heep and more

Trying to explain what exactly constitutes rock music could take a life time. It is one of the broadest genres, and can be given almost any prefix. Prog-rock, alt-rock, jazz-rock, punk rock, psych rock…. the list is endless. It has been the subject much discussion, and rock has even been declared dead on numerous occasions.

Judging by the amount of rare and collectable vinyl we see from almost every corner of the rock music lexicon, the genre is very much alive and well. Below are a few of the latest arrivals we have in stock, ready to find a place in your collection. You can search for your favourite artists in our store to see our full range.

Black Sabbath – Master Of Reality: Rare 1971 UK first pressing 8-track vinyl LP on an inverted black ‘swirl’ label, with machine stamped 1Y1/2Y1 matrices & an inverted ‘swirl’ die-cut inner, fully laminated & embossed box picture sleeve complete with the incredibly rare fold-out poster.

Nirvana – Local Anaesthetic: Rare 1971 UK first issue two-part LP on the large Vertigo ‘swirl’ label, the fourth album to be issued under the Nirvana name & the first post-Island outing, housed in a fantastic Keef-designed gatefold sleeve complete with the original ‘swirl’ inner. This is a one previous owner copy. The sleeve is Excellent with just some minor cosmetic wear such as the lightest bit of edge fading commensurate with age. The vinyl appears Near Mint. As good as they come!

Uriah Heep – Salisbury: Rare & in demand 1971 UK first press 6-track LP on the Vertigo large ‘swirl’ label, housed in a matt gatefold sleeve with the poly-lined ‘swirl’ inner. Obtained from the private archives of a one-previous owner collection, the cover is Excellent, stored away from direct sunlight with some minor ring wear & scuffing to the corners. The labels appear near mint with some light evidence of play by the spindle area. The vinyl is super clean & grades Excellent. On close inspection, there are a couple of light cosmetic blemishes & the odd paper hairline not affecting play. This is one of the hardest Vertigo swirls to find as an original, so be quick, they tend not to hang around for long!
