For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.
While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

Alice In Chains – Jar Of Flies / Sap: Original 1994 UK limited edition 11-track double LP comprising the 7-track mini album pressed on Translucent Yellow Vinyl plus the bonus 5-track ‘Sap’ 12″ pressed on Translucent Blue Vinyl [with an ETCHING on Side D], an early acoustic EP which showcases Alice In Chains at their most sublime. Complete with the individual picture inners, the gatefold picture sleeve retains its hype & tracklisting stickers and displays a little shelfwear to the edges whilst the vinyl appears barely played £85
Soundgarden – Badmotorfinger: 1991 UK 12-track vinyl LP, the third studio album by American rock band including the singles Room A Thousand Years Wide, Jesus Christ Pose, Outshined and Rusty Cage. The glossy picture sleeve has just a little edgewear, whilst the vinyl appears barely played. A fantastic copy of the classic twenty five year old pressing £60
Elastica – Elastica: Classic 1995 UK numbered limited edition 15-track LP, complete with exclusive 7″ flexi-disc featuring a version of Adam & The Ants’ Cleopatra, as well as the 12-page ‘Elasticatalogue’ booklet, custom stickered picturesleeve with photo/lyric inner. This is the misprinted version which credits ‘Waking Up’ both sides of the label instead of ‘Line Up’. The packaging is Excellent with some minor crease marks & the vinyl is Excellent with few signs of play £65
