Latest rare and collectable ’90s vinyl in stock, including Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cranberries, Orbital and more

For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.

While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

We don’t always see that many collections of ‘90s vinyl here, but when we do, you can almost guarantee them to be of a high quality both in condition and content. Below are a few highlights we have in stock, and be sure to keep an eye on our latest arrivals.

Red Hot Chili peppers – One Hot Minute: 1995 German manufactured 12-track double vinyl LP, the sixth studio album by the American rock band including the singles Warped, My Friends and Aeroplane, housed within a single pocket picture sleeve with lyric inners. The sleeve has a vintage price sticker attached, and remains sealed from new.

The Cranberries – To The Faithful Departed: 1996 UK limited edition 13-track LP pressed on Yellow Vinyl, housed in a custom-stickered nine-panel poster sleeve with purple inner. The poster sleeve has a smallsplit at the top otherwise displays minimal wear, whilst the vinyl looks barely played.

Orbital – In Sides: 1996 UK 6-track Triple vinyl LP set with one track per side, the fourth album by the British electronic group, including the single The Box, picture sleeve with picture inners. This example has the vintage high street shop pricestickers attached to the front & back, and remains sealed in the original shrink.
